Más de 70 minutos de anuncios para todas las plataformas, regresos esperados y hasta un shadowdrop inesperado para PS5.
El más reciente State of Play de PlayStation se transmitió este 12 de febrero de 2026 y durante aproximadamente 70 minutos presentó una avalancha de anuncios, nuevos vistazos y varias sorpresas. Entre los títulos destacados estuvieron un nuevo avance de Resident Evil: Requiem y Control Resonant, además de revelaciones que nadie vio venir y confirmaciones que emocionaron a los fans de sagas clásicas.
Uno de los anuncios más comentados fue Rev. NOiR, un nuevo JRPG desarrollado por Konami. También se confirmó oficialmente Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2, que incluirá MGS4, MGS: Peace Walker y MGS Ghost Babel. Pero la sorpresa mayor llegó con el shadowdrop de God of War: Sons of Sparta, una precuela en pixel art y desplazamiento lateral de la popular franquicia, disponible desde ya en PS5.
La presentación también repasó una extensa lista de títulos que llegarán en los próximos meses y años, incluyendo nombres como Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, Pragmata, Silent Hill Townfall, Marathon y hasta el esperado God of War Trilogy Remake. Con esta mezcla de remakes, secuelas y nuevas IP, PlayStation deja claro que 2026 será un año bastante movido para PS5 y más allá.
