Baldur’s Gate 3 arrasó en los Golden Joystick Awards, ganando en siete categorías diferentes. Esto incluye el premio al Mejor Juego del Año e incluso al Estudio del Año para Larian Studio.
El reparto también fue elogiado y el actor de Astarion, Neil Newbon, se llevó a casa el premio al mejor actor de reparto. Los fans también recibieron un reconocimiento, ya que Baldur’s Gate 3 ganó un premio por tener la mejor comunidad, obteniendo el premio con un asombroso 72% de los votos.
Baldur’s Gate 3 también ganó los premios de Mejor Narración, Mejor Diseño Visual y Mejor Juego para PC del Año. Fue el juego más aclamado del evento, con Final Fantasy 16 y Cyberpunk 2077 también ganando premios en dos categorías cada uno.
Baldur’s Gate 3 tuvo que vérselas contra The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, Diablo 4, Final Fantasy 16 y otros para la categoría de Juego del Año.
